Escape the everyday and settle in for three days and nights of creativity and community. The Tailorbird Sewing Getaway is a relaxed sewing retreat in a beautiful home where you can finally start, work on, or finish the projects you’ve been dreaming about. Bring your machine (or borrow one of ours), your fabric, and your creativity—then enjoy uninterrupted sewing time, shared inspiration, and the company of kindred spirits.

The Details

  • Check in and set up will begin Thursday afternoon.  

  • Friday and Saturday will include work time to make real progress on your projects, as well as a couple of optional "side quest" workshops to learn some new skills or take a break from what you're focused on with a group activity.  Supplies for the optional workshops are included.

  • Clean up and check out will take place Sunday morning.

  • Food and beverages for the weekend are included!  We will share gourmet meals, plentiful snacks, and a glass of wine, beer or an NA cocktail to unwind each evening.   We will make every attempt to accommodate dietary restrictions. 

  • Amenities include two hot tubs, a media room for a movie night, and plenty of community space to take breaks from sewing.

Cost Information

Registration fees (inclusive of lodging, all food and beverages, all fees, taxes, and supplies for optional workshops):

  • Private room with king bed (2 available): $1600

  • King bed in shared room: $1350

  • Twin bed in shared room: $1250 

Transportation is not included.  

Registration will open May 1 and a $500 deposit will be due at that time.  The deposit is refundable until July 1.
