Hi we’re Jinny and Kirsten — the “mama birds” behind Tailorbird! We’re two moms whose kids go to the same school, and somewhere between school drop-off and late-night sewing sessions, we discovered we share the same passions: stitching beautiful things and building a creative, welcoming community.

Our name, Tailorbird, comes from the real-life tailorbird — a tiny but mighty bird known for sewing its nest. We loved that symbolism, because at heart, we’re two mama birds too: creating, nurturing, and stitching together a space where creativity can take flight.
