Seasonal Retail Associate

Tailorbird Fabrics is looking for a friendly, knowledgeable, and detail-oriented Seasonal Retail Associate to join our team during the busy holiday season.

This position is a great fit for someone with retail experience and a strong knowledge of sewing, textiles, and fabric.

Responsibilities

  • Provide warm, knowledgeable, and high-level customer service

  • Help customers select fabrics, notions, and sewing supplies

  • Operate the point-of-sale system and assist with transactions

  • Keep the shop clean, organized, and welcoming

  • Restock and organize inventory

  • Support day-to-day shop operations

Qualifications

  • Previous retail experience required

  • Knowledge of sewing and textiles/fabric required

  • Friendly, approachable, and comfortable working with customers in a busy retail environment

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Reliable, responsible, and punctual

Availability:

This is a seasonal position with a focus on evenings and weekends. Candidates must have reliable availability during these times, particularly during the holiday season.

Compensation: $18-20/hour
